Fangirl Favorites Sweep the 2011 Creative Arts Emmys

HBO shows swept the 2011 Creative Arts Emmys last night with a total of 15 wins. The big winner was Fickle Fangirl favorite, Boardwalk Empire. Unlike the televised Emmys, the Creative Arts awards focus on the technical craft and behind the scenes work that goes into making all of our favorite shows. These people don't often get enough credit, so it is nice to see them take home so many awards.

Boardwalk Empire won for:

Outstanding Makeup for a Single-Camera Series (Non-Prosthetic)
Outstanding Art Direction for a Single-Camera Series
Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing for a Drama Series

Boardwalk Empire Season 2 Extended Trailer

We are a little over 2 weeks away from the Boardwalk Empire season 2 premiere and little bits of info are beginning to trickle our way. This new trailer shows us some more clips we've already seen mixed in with some juicy new awesome. Namely, Margaret with a shotgun, a couple seconds of the new guy working for Nucky and Al calling Richard "Frankenstein."

It features Charlaine Harris, Kristin Bauer van Straten (Pam De Beaufort), Jim Parrack (Hoyt Fortenberry) and Joe Manganiello (Alcide Herveaux). It's really nice to see Charlaine's point of view about the changes made for TV.
