I have decided to merge my Realmscast podcast and blog and my MMORPG.com blog into my main blog, being that between Spouse Aggro and MMOvoices taking all my time and writing for Ablegamers.com, my wrists are taking too much abuse. I soak them in ice twice a day and at this rate I wouldn’t be surprised if I don’t cause some major damage. I feel as though I already have, and a healthy dose of fear is preventing me from going to the doctor.

Anyway, that means no more Realmscast podcast. It was too hard for me to keep up with it and all my other projects. It was fun, and I will still talk about Free Realms as much as before, but only on one show instead of two.

I would like to thank him for taking out the time to interview with me, and for allowing me to call him again to re-do the interview. Cool guy, likes banana suits. Ok, the new racing quests are so much fun. Frustrating at first? Yes, but after a try or two you start to learn the course and then start smashing the competition.

Again, I bought a new car and some parts with a little Station Cash, but I also used in game gold. You can get the same stuff with in game gold, but it will cost ya. The Station Cash shop is just a short-cut, and it’s the best chunk of change I have spent so far!

Anyway, this has been the most fun I have had in Free Realms yet! Go try it out!

The new racing in Free Realms is SO FUN.

I kept wiping out or coming in last in during the racing quests, so I decided to throw down some Station Cash. I bought a 5 dollar card at Wally World, plugged it in and started shopping.

I knew I wanted a new engine, new turbo and longer turbo. When looking at the Cash Shop I found out that I couldn’t afford it all, even with the Station Cash I just bought. No problem! They also give you a chance to buy the exact same items with your regular old gold, and I had plenty from doing quests!

Bammo, done and DONE. I jump in my car and promptly kick the tails of my fellow racers. Watch the video below..I start off VERY roughly, at one point being in last place and jumping so high that I fly through the trees. But, I pull off a first place WIN!

Go try out the new racing if you haven’t yet. What a blast!

A new cool Free Realms patch came out recently, and it’s a doozy! The big items are the new garages and race-tracks, but also the leveling that can be done! Within one or two tries of the beginning racing quest I had already leveled! WOOT!

The garages are cool, and I would recommend everyone checking them out. I will be taking some films soon and will be looking into the new tracks as well.

FINALLY I’ll be able to level up and kick some butt while burning rubber!

* Kart Drivers and Demolition Derby Drivers can now level and get new items! See a trainer at any of the Speedways to get started.

* Check out the Marketplace for new karts and new items to customize them with!

* Now you can view leaderboards in game!  Click on the High Scores button from the mini-game start screen.

Free Realms continues to add cool stuff to the game, and at this rate I cannot wait to see what they will have cooked up a year from now. There is mention of the new race-track at Sea-Side, which rules. I kind of suck at racing and want to attempt to get better at it.

For the life of me, when I win a race, nothing happens. Am I supposed to be getting experience as I win? Who knows.
